The Nursing Research Institute (NRI) invites you to the 2026 Nursing Research Symposium, a full day celebrating the impact of nursing research on patient care and clinical practice.

We’re delighted to welcome keynote speaker Professor Jenny Sim, Head, School of Nursing, Midwifery & Paramedicine (NSW), Australian Catholic University.

The symposium also gives nurses the chance to present their own research, hear from experienced researchers, and see the impact of nursing research firsthand. Whether you’re an established researcher, exploring a research pathway, or simply curious, the day offers inspiration, insight, and connection with fellow nurses, researchers and clinicians.

We are also inviting submissions from nurses across the precinct to share their research, innovation, quality improvement initiatives, and emerging projects, as part of our event proceedings.
